Before starting BAGGU with design partner Emily Sugihara in 2006, Ellen worked at Laird and Partners, a full-service fashion advertising and branding agency, where she contributed to campaigns for Donna Karan/DKNY, The Gap, and the Juicy Courture fragrance launch. Working in-house for M-A-C Cosmetics, she was responsible for in store graphics as well as print design. She has also created apparel graphics for J. Crew, Speedo, and Billabong. Ellen currently serves as the Creative Director of Baggu, which has been featured in print publications such as Nylon, InStyle, TeenVogue, Metropolitan Home, Food+Wine, Body+Soul, Plenty and ReadyMade and seen on the Today Show and Good Morning America. With a style influenced by both minimalism and 1970s psychedelia, she works to keep the Baggu image beautiful.
