RISD '86 [Jewelry + Metalsmithing]
Inspired by nature, Celia Landman has been designing her own line of jewelry for 15 years. Recently, she also began producing designs for the home and office, including a collection of metal frames, boxes, candlesticks, letter openers and vases. Landman’s love of fluid, natural forms inspires all of her whimsical, yet timeless work; a leaf becomes a pin, a box bristles with spines, a sea urchin doubles as a saltcellar. Shortly after breaking into the field at Robert Lee Morris Artwear in New York’s SoHo district, she was recruited by Donna Karan New York to design the new DKNY jewelry line. Now based in rural Connecticut, Celia Landman¨ produces four new lines a year and has regional representatives throughout the country.
