Oren Sherman Limited Editions (www.orensherman.com) produces crisp, colorful, award-winning prints, including Tall Ships, Brooklyn Bridge Centennial, The New England Portfolio of collectable art prints and the well-known Boston Series. Commissions include covers for L.L. Bean catalogues, eight US postage stamps, a credit card design for VISA, designs for Steuben Glass and posters for the Olympics, the Disney Corporation and Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. Sherman, who works out of his studios in Boston and Truro, MA, spent almost five years illustrating The Random House Book of Greek Myths (1999), the first children’s anthology of myth to be produced in color. He likes to remind his RISD students that “it’s not so much what an illustration looks like, it’s what it feels like.”
