RISD ‘90 [Jewelry+Metalsmithing]
Moran’s interest in nature and her meticulous craftsmanship are united in her work, which offers her reinterpretations of flowers, leaves, twigs, and even thorns and nettles. While working as studio assistant for other jewelers, Moran began selling her own line of sterling silver jewelry to galleries across the United States. In 1993, Moran teamed up with her sister Erin to open EAM Gallery in Portsmouth, NH. The gallery features Moran’s work alongside jewelry by some of the finest jewelers in this country. Today, Moran’s work is sold through museum stores, gift stores, craft galleries, and even mail-order catalogs.
