For the jewelry he makes by hand in his loft in South Norwalk, CT, Ryan Kundrat mixes traditional and unconventional materials for unusual modern pairings: sterling silver with bright industrial rubber; gold and pearls with colored faux suede. His sophisticated designs are available at galleries and boutiques in the US and Canada. Before developing his jewelry lines, Kundrat designed functional objects on a larger scale, including ready-to-assemble furniture, upholstered tables and decorative lighting.
