Caleb Siemon
RISD ’97 [Glass]
Already a ceramist in his teens, Caleb Siemon discovered his passion for glass blowing at a summer craft school in Massachusetts, and nurtured his talents in RISD’s renowned Glass Department. Wanderlust took him to New Zealand, Japan, Scotland and finally to Venice, Italy, where he apprenticed under master glassblower Pino Signoretto. Returning to the US in 1999, Siemon settled in Costa Mesa, CA, and established United Glass Blowing, an Italian-style studio devoted to preserving centuries-old techniques and fostering artistic exchange. His work has been shown in numerous museums and galleries, and is sold at Barneys, Gump’s, the Phillips Collection Museum Store, Mildred Farrell Fine Art in Madison, WI, and Holt Renfew in Toronto, among others.
