Shonna Dowers
RISD ‘95 [Graphic Design]
Following her degree in graphic design at RISD, Shonna started her career in the publishing industry working for Little, Brown & Co. and Warner Books. In 1997 she relocated to San Francisco to work for Esprit de Corp.,
followed by Pottery Barn. In 2001 Shonna started her own graphic design consulting business called SurfaceMatter Design (SurfaceMatterdesign.com). Her clients include New Balance Athletic Wear, Dunham Footwear, Harvard
School of Public Health and Johnson & Wales University.
She currently resides in Providence, RI with her husband and two children, and is developing a line of home décor products.
