Margaret is a recent graduate from the Jewelry and Metalsmithing department. She is an avid collector of feathers and recently decided to do something with them. Through experimenting with electromagnetic plating and learning how to control where and how much metal grows on a piece she has found a trick to working with feathers . Her beautiful Macaw feather has been partially electromagnetically plated with copper. The shiny copper will change and tarnish in time into a beautiful brown color. All feathers are naturally molted and cruelty-free.
